As part of the North Carolina Museum of Art’s esteemed Sights & Sounds on Sundays series, the Cleveland Celtic Ensemble promises an afternoon of musical enchantment. Their program will transport listeners through the lush landscapes of Celtic melodies, offering a concert experience that is both soul-stirring and unforgettable. The Sunday performance is a concert-only in the museum's SECU auditorium. But the Saturday performance is in the West Building's NCMA Cafe and includes a Valentine's Day @ NCMA Dinner Experience in partnership with Catering Works.

ABOUT THE MUSIC
The Cleveland Celtic Ensemble offers a captivating fusion of Celtic tradition and chamber music sophistication, delivering performances that are both intimate and exhilarating. Their unique blend of Scottish and Irish bagpipes, fiddle, harp, flute, and vocals creates a rich tapestry of sound that resonates with audiences seeking both authenticity and innovation.
Each member brings a wealth of experience and accolades to the ensemble. Brian Bigley has toured extensively across North America and Europe, showcasing his mastery of the uilleann pipes and traditional Irish dance. Kristen Bigley, with her classical training, seamlessly bridges the gap between classical and folk genres. Ian Crane's performances have graced prestigious venues such as the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival, the Kennedy Center, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Tiffany Schaefer, winner of the 2022 US National Scottish Harp Championship, enriches the ensemble's sound with her harp and vocal prowess.
